Tetris Video Games

One of the earliest and best examples of the puzzle game genre, some version of Tetris has been released for nearly every video game system in existence as well as on computers, cell phones, PDAs and other random electronic devices. Originally designed by Russian programmer Alexey Pajitnov in 1985, the popularity of the game exploded when it was released for the original Game Boy.

The basic Tetris game concept is to quickly arrange falling blocks of various shapes and colors (called tetrominoes) to make complete rows, before you run out of room on the screen. As many gamers have discovered, this deceptively simple pass-time is extremely addictive! An excellent game for players of all ages.
